Time Banking with Macmillan

“Macmillan and Time Bank is a match made in necessity, in heaven as far as I’m concerned. Without it, my life would be far more limited and difficult than it need be.” Time Bank member

Rushey Green Time Bank is collaborating with Macmillan Cancer Support to explore how timebanking can support people affected by cancer in Lewisham.

As part of these drop-ins we offer monthly drop-ins, the last Friday of the month, 10am-12pm in the meeting room at Rushey Green Group Practice on Hawstead Road.

These sessions are open to anyone affected by cancer, whether it's your personally or someone close to you who might benefit from joining our time bank.

Become a Macmillan Neighbour!

Would you be interested in becoming a Macmillan Neighbour to help people affected by cancer in Rushey Green Time Bank and your local community get the support that they need? Neighbours would help by: providing a listening ear to members affected by cancer; acting as a point of contact for members looking for cancer information and signposting to local and national cancer services; championing the work of the partnership between Macmillan and Rushey Green Time Bank. Check out this short video to explain the role a little more.
